Cecile McNeal serves as the Director of Administration for The Sparrows Table, helping oversee much of the nonprofit’s day-to-day operations behind the scenes. She manages website support, reviews new applications, and helps build community relationships and fundraising initiatives to further the ministry’s impact. As a mom of two little ones, Cecile is passionate about creating safe spaces where people feel heard, valued, and supported. She has a heart for listening to others’ stories, praying with people in quiet moments, and helping families access the care and resources they need. In her free time, Cecile enjoys painting and cooking, and she is deeply committed to helping The Sparrows Table continue growing to serve more families in the community.

Sam Cruz serves as our Director of Development and is deeply invested in strengthening our community. With years of experience working alongside individuals in the vulnerable sector, she brings both compassion and expertise to our ministry. Sam is passionate about building a community where people uplift, encourage, and support one another. Outside of her role, Sam is a proud mom to a sweet little boy who keeps her on her toes. She loves spending quality time with family and friends, celebrating the people around her, and creating meaningful connections by hosting memorable gatherings and events. When she's not serving the community, you'll often find Sam camping, playing volleyball, or traveling home to spend time with her family. Her heart for people, joyful spirit, and dedication to serving others make her an invaluable part of our team.

Carolyn Lacelle believes that strong communities are built through kindness, connection, and people who are willing to lend a helping hand. As Volunteer Coordinator, she loves welcoming and supporting volunteers, helping them discover the difference they can make in the lives of local families. She is passionate about creating a positive, inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and inspired to give back. Outside of volunteering, Carolyn is a busy mom of five who finds joy in gardening, growing food, and building meaningful connections within her community. She is grateful to be part of an organization that brings hope, dignity, and support to families facing food insecurity.
